Your choice

The first time you visit, a banner asks you to accept all, reject what is not essential, or customise. There are three groups: Necessary, which is always on, Analytics and Diagnostics, which are off until you switch them on.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a rejection and do not show the banner. You can still opt in yourself at any time.

Necessary

tp_consentRemembers your choice so we do not ask again. Set by us, first party, kept for 6 months. A copy is kept in your browser’s local storage in case the cookie is cleared.

Analytics

Off until you accept. It tells us which pages are read and where people get stuck, so we can improve the site.

_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics 4 (Google). Tells visits apart and counts page views and events. Browser cookies last up to two years; the data in our reports is kept for 14 months.

_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID and similarMicrosoft Clarity. Links the pages of one visit so a session can be replayed, and builds heatmaps. Durations are set by Microsoft and range from a day to about a year. Form fields are masked.

We use Google Consent Mode. Before you accept, analytics storage is denied. Advertising storage is never granted, Google signals are off, and we do not use these tools for advertising.

Diagnostics

Off until you accept. If the site breaks in your browser, Sentry sends us the error and the technical details we need to fix it.

SentryError reports only. It does not set an advertising cookie, records no session replay, and we remove form values and query strings before anything is sent.

If you withdraw

Switching Analytics off deletes the Google and Microsoft cookies listed above and stops collection. Switching Diagnostics off stops error reports. The page reloads once, because a script that has already loaded cannot be unloaded.

You can also block or clear cookies in your browser. Blocking tp_consent means we will ask again on your next visit.

Changes

We will update this notice if the cookies we use change, and we will ask again if a change needs a new consent.
